We spent our last weekend at Emily's uncle Marion and aunt Mary's farmhouse out in the country. Marion spent the first 6 years of his life here. They use the house now for a weekend getaway, and there are no longer animals; they do grow trees on some of their land, though.

Das Wochenende war eine tolle Zeit mit der Familie; wir haben das schoene Wetter auf der Terassse in den Schaukelstuehlen und Schaukeln genossen.
We had a great time just being together with the family, enjoying the mild weather out on the porch in rocking chairs and chair-swings.
Strawberry season had just begun, so we went Saturday morning to the nearest farmer and picked our own delicious strawberries. Joshua volunteered to sort the berries once they were picked. :)
Zurueck auf der Farm hat Joshua sein naechstes Hobby entdeckt: sich im Bollerwagen durch den Garten ziehen zu lassen und dann sehr koeniglich uns, den "Passanten", zu winken.
Back at the farm, Joshua discovered another hobby: riding in the red wagon. Better stated, our little "prince" let others pull him around and waved to all of his "subjects".
Es war ein tolles Wochendende - vielen Dank!! Thanks for the great weekend, everybody!

Joshua liebt es seinen Wagen zu schieben und das Laufen zu ueben.
Joshua loves to push his little cart and to practice walking.
Es war bereits Erdbeerzeit. Also sind wir zu einem Bauern gefahren und haben Erdbeeren gepflueckt; das war klasse. Joshua hat geholfen, die Ernte zu sortieren.
