Meine Frau hat mir zum Geburtstag einen langen Wunsch erfüllt: Eine Tour im Hochseilgarten. Und meine Eltern haben uns einen Nachmittag Kinderbetreuung geschenkt, so dass wir beide zusammen klettern konnten!
We enjoyed a visit from Andy's parents for his birthday weekend. My gift to Andy for his birthday was a trip together to a high ropes course on an island in the middle of the Amper River (northwest of Munich in Fuerstenfeldbruck). Thanks to his parents' looking after our brood, we were able to enjoy an afternoon of challenge and fun.

Everybody came along and watched from the Biergarten down below. Joshua would have joined us if it weren't restricted to 8 years and up!
Am Sonntag ging es dann in den Tierpark in Poing.
On Sunday, we went to a wonderful game park on the east side of Munich. They feature brown bears, wolves, lynx, birds of prey, various deer, all indiginous to Bavaria. The park also has the most INCREDIBLE picnick and playground area!!!
Dort haben wir einen neuen Spielplatz entdeckt: Ein Fort, welches ein Kletterparcours für Kinder war. Unsere Jungs waren begeistert!
There are so many playgrounds that we discover something new each time! Our discovery this time was very appropriate: a kids' ropes course!
Es war ein tolles Geburtstags-Wochenende! Vielen Dank!
